De La Salle Blackfeet School’s goal is to positively peer pressure our students into believing that education will improve their lives. The immersion groups interaction with our students will help realize this goal.
Surrounded by spectacular country, Browning is the capital of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, home to 12,000 Blackfeet. Domination by western society tore traditional Blackfeet culture from its roots.
Athletics Update: Our 8th grade girls basketball team won the Northern Middle School Athletic Association Championship in Fairfield, MT. This is our first championship victory for girl’s basketball and we are proud of the handwork the team and coaches put in!
Raffle Update: Thank you to those who have returned their raffle tickets already. We held our first drawing on Friday, Oct. 23 and the $100 winner was Audrey Ochs of Hamilton, Montana. Our $1,000 drawing will take place on Nov. 24th, so if you haven’t returned your tickets there is still time to be eligible for this drawings and all remaining drawings throughout the year. Tuesday, November 24 will be our school family Thanksgiving meal right after 10:30 AM Mass. We ask parents to bring something to supplement the feed. School staff will cook the turkey. Fourth grade: bread, butter and dressings, Fifth Grade deserts, Sixth Grade: vegetable dishes, Seventh Grade: salads and Eighth Grade: potato dishes.
